Cross Region Restore of Azure VMs now generally available
Today we are announcing the general availability of Cross Region Restore (CRR) for Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) support using Microsoft Azure Backup.
Azure Backup for SAP HANA: Soft limit increased from 2 TB to 8 TB
Now you can protect larger SAP HANA DBs (such as Mv2 – 12 TB RAM machines) with the enhanced data transfer capabilities from Azure Backup.
Support for more workloads, tag based policies now in Backup Center public preview
Target availability: Q1 2021
Backup Center now supports SQL in Azure VMs, SAP HANA in Azure VMs and Azure Files. New Azure Policies allow you to deploy backup at scale based on resource group and tag information.
