Azure Stack—FedRAMP High documentation now available
Published date: 01 November, 2018
The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) provides a standardised approach to security assessment, authorization and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services used by the US government. Because FedRAMP’s goal is to protect US citizen data in the cloud, it is government’s most rigorous security compliance framework. For this reason, cloud service providers (CSPs) are required to obtain a FedRAMP authorization in order to provide their cloud services to the federal government. There are different classifications for FedRAMP: Low, Moderate and High. FedRAMP High is the most stringent and it's required to protect some of the government’s most sensitive, unclassified data in cloud computing.
