Automation and configuration for virtual machines

Azure Automation includes three new enterprise-grade capabilities for managing virtual machines—update management, inventory and change tracking. You can now access these new capabilities directly from the Virtual Machine Resources menu in the Azure portal. In addition, a new dashboard provides a unified view across your entire environment to ensure resources are correctly configured, updated and managed.
