Japanese Era Update

On May 1, 2019, a new Japanese era and associated calendar will begin. Microsoft is preparing for these changes. Azure services rely on support from the underlying operating system and development frameworks for date-related functionality. This date-related functionality includes support for the new era. Operating system and frameworks updates for new era support will be deployed in a similar way to other critical updates. We’ll update this page as needed in the months ahead.
