Additional support for managed identity in Azure Stream Analytics now in public preview

Data di pubblicazione: 18 dicembre, 2020

Azure Stream Analytics now supports managed identity for the following inputs and outputs in public preview. As a result, customers do not have to manage service-to-service credentials by themselves.

  • Blob/ADLS Gen2 Stream input. In addition to output, Stream Analytics can now use managed identity to connect to Blob storage or Azure Data Lake Storage Gen 2 as stream input. More info here.
  • Event Hubs input and output. Stream analytics can now connect to Event Hubs using managed identity. In combination with the use of Event Hub Trusted Services, this allows customers to process data in a VNET or when the firewall is enabled. More information here.
  • Dedicated SQL pool (formerly SQL DW) in Azure Synapse Analytics. Stream Analytics now support high throughput output to Synapse using managed identity. More info here.
  • Customer Storage account. TheCustomer Storage account (used to store UDF or some other customer assets) now supports managed identity. More info here.
