General Availability: Azure Database for MySQL - Flexible Server - On demand backups

The on demand backups feature allows you to initiate a backup of your Azure Database for MySQL flexible server and to store it, along with the automated backups the service provides, in alignment with your server’s backup retention policy. You can then use these backups as the fastest restore point when performing a point-in-time restore, which can reduce restore times by up to 90 percent.
