General Availability: Azure Database for MySQL - Flexible Server major version upgrade

The major version upgrade feature enables you to update the major version of an existing Azure Database for MySQL flexible server from 5.7 to 8.0 with minimal effort. You can now take advantage of this functionality to efficiently perform major version upgrades in Azure Database for MySQL – Flexible Server. After the upgrade, you’ll gain access to performance enhancements, security improvements, and new features such as Data Dictionary, JSON enhancements, and Window functions.
