Gain global reach while retaining local presence

Reduce the cost, the time and the complexity of operating a global infrastructure while meeting your local data residency needs. Azure lets you deliver services at the scale you need to reach your customers and partners, wherever they are.

More Azure – less latency

Azure Edge Zones brings Azure closer to our customers. Extending from our regions or DCs to both metro, carriers and customer edges. Powered by Azure and our global network infrastructure, Edge Zones provide compute, storage and services such as containers at the edge, enabling ultra-low latency access for customers with large data and connectivity requirements. We are investing in fast, distributed infrastructure to virtually eliminate latency concerns—one of the main performance barriers for modern apps, connected devices, and mobile services.

Let Azure keep your data secure

Azure safeguards data in facilities that are protected by industry-leading physical security systems and are compliant with a comprehensive portfolio of standards and regulations.

Join a sustainable IT future

Microsoft is committed to driving innovation that helps people and organisations improve the environment. We achieved carbon neutrality in 2012 and have met our goal of averaging 1.125 power usage effectiveness (PUE) for any new data centre – exceeding the industry average by more than 30 per cent.

Join us in reducing energy use and transitioning to a more carbon-neutral grid through projects and business models that harness next-generation technologies.
