Low Priority VM support is now in development

Published date: 29 March, 2019

For all long-running services, you should not use Low Priority VMSS, as these can be removed from the cluster at any time. However, there are occasions, such as in batch computing or short-lived applications, where your application can survive that VM being rapidly removed because you want the lower cost. In these occasions, having a separate node type with a Low Priority VM is an option.
