As of 1 September 2020, Azure Databricks meters will have a name change.
Custom Translator upgrade and Regional data residency
Custom Translator team is being upgraded to V2 phase-1 to take advantage of the state-of-the-art neural machine translation (NMT) architecture available in Microsoft Translator. This architecture powers translation for Microsoft services such as Office 365, Teams, Speech Services, Bing.com and Translator, along with other services. Data residency support is also being enabled to meet corporate data security, data privacy and regulatory requirements to keep customer data in the Europe region.
The Azure IoT Node.js SDK releases a new long-term support (LTS) branch
A new Node.js IoT SDK LTS branch has been released, offering customers a guarantee that they will benefit from any necessary security or critical bug fixes with minimal impact to their device’s stable code.
Azure SQL Database gateways changes effective from September 2020
As os 1 September 2020, new Azure SQL Database gateways in multiple regions will start accepting traffic
Upcoming billing changes to Azure Bandwidth
On a rolling basis throughout September 2020, we’ll move Bandwidth to a source–destination billing model. Additionally, metering will be divided into inter-region meter IDs.
