General availability: Service Bus Premium Messaging released to general availability
As of July 15, 2016, Azure Service Bus Premium Messaging has transitioned from preview to general availability (GA). Service Bus Premium Messaging supports a broader array of mission-critical cloud apps, and provides all the messaging features of Service Bus queues and topics—with predictable, repeatable performance and improved availability. Premium Messaging was designed for customers who want their own dedicated resources, need scalability as their workload grows, and seek reliability that assures them that their messages will be processed in a predictable amount of time.
Unlike the multitenant model that is used by Basic and Standard Service Bus tiers, the Premium tier uses a microservices model to provide resource isolation and more-consistent performance. For more information, see this blog post and this article.
