Azure Multi-Factor Authentication can now be purchased through Volume Licensing, the Cloud Solution Provider program, Azure in Open, or Azure Direct as an annual user-based model—like Microsoft Azure Active Directory Premium, Microsoft Intune, and Azure Rights Management. This new user option does not bill against Azure monetary commitment. We continue to offer user- and authentication-based consumption offers that will bill against Azure monetary commitment.
This new offer includes the same feature set as the existing offerings—it’s just a different way to purchase Multi-Factor Authentication, which better aligns with how Office 365 and Azure Active Directory Basic and Premium are purchased.
Multi-Factor Authentication will continue to be included as part of Azure Active Directory Premium, Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite, and Enterprise Cloud Suite.
