A_V2 series VMs are available in Azure HDInsight

A_V2, a new general-purpose compute VM series, is available in Azure HDInsight. A_V2 VM sizes range from 1 core, 2 GiB of memory, and 10 GB SSD, scaling up to 8 cores, 64 GiB of memory, and 80 GB SSD. 

​A_V2 instances are available in most regions. Customers can build Hadoop, Spark, Hive, interactive query (LLAP), Kafka, Storm, and HBase solutions with A_V2 series.
