Read replica across regions for Azure database services for MySQL and PostgreSQL

Cross-region asynchronous replication is now in preview for Azure Database for MySQL and Azure Database for PostgreSQL. Create up to five read-only replica servers for every master server to scale out and balance read-heavy workloads across replica servers and Azure regions. Take advantage of this feature to maintain business continuity in disaster recovery scenarios. Note that stopping replication to a read replica causes it to become a stand-alone server that accepts reads and writes.
