NVv2 Azure Virtual Machines, which have been architected to support remote visualisation workloads and other graphics-intensive applications, are now available in preview.
The new NVv2 machines will feature up to 448 GiB of RAM – twice the amount of memory present in the prior NVv1 generation – and are backed by the NVIDIA Tesla M60 GPU. The NVv2 VMs also support premium SSDs.
