Easily monitor backup storage costs for Azure SQL databases and elastic pools

Azure SQL Database now makes it easy to monitor your storage costs with support for Azure Cost Management.
Backup storage is provided at no extra charge for up to 100 per cent of the provisioned or allocated amounts for databases and pools. For example, if you provision 1 TB of storage, you have the same amount (1 TB) of backup storage at no extra charge. Any additional backup storage over 1 TB will be charged at a fixed amount depending on the region, workload and size of individual databases. See backup pricing details.
