Microsoft announces plans to establish its first data centre region in Malaysia

Microsoft announced its “Bersama Malaysia” (Together with Malaysia) initiative, which includes plans to establish its first data centre region in Malaysia – empowering people, government and businesses with highly secure, scalable and low-latency cloud services. As part of the plan, Microsoft will work with the government, communities and enterprises to create digital skilling programmes to empower an estimated one million Malaysians by the end of 2023.
