Azure IoT Edge for Linux on Windows available for public preview
Azure IoT Edge for Linux on Windows provides the ability to run Linux containers on Windows under the Azure IoT Edge context. This allows you to connect your Azure IoT Edge for Linux instance to your Azure IoT Hub subscription and deploy your custom Linux Edge Modules to Windows devices.

Ingress logs are now available for Azure Time Series Insights environments
Target availability: Q4 2020
Azure Time Series Insights has released Azure Monitor Logs for errors that occur in the ingress pipeline. This category includes errors that occur when receiving events (such as failures to connect to an Event Source) and processing events (such as errors when parsing an event payload).
Azure Digital Twins is now generally available
Azure Digital Twins is generally available and read for production deployments. Features include: Flexible modelling and general graph topology, richer compute, bring your own IoT Hub for easier integration, and improved scalability.
IoT Hub private link now works with the built-in Event Hub compatible endpoint
Starting December 3, all new IoT Hub private links will support connectivity to the built-in Event Hub compatible endpoint. Create new private links to use this feature.

Announcing the unified Azure Certified Device program
A unified and enhanced Azure Certified Device program was announced at Microsoft Ignite, expanding on previous Microsoft certification offerings that validate IoT devices meet specific capabilities and are built to run on Azure. This program offers a low-cost opportunity for device builders to increase visibility of their products while making it easy for solution builders and end customers to find the right device for their IoT solutions.
Protect both managed and unmanaged IoT/OT devices with Azure Defender for IoT
Azure Defender for IoT a rebranding of Azure Security Center for IoT is launching new capabilities from the CyberX acquisition to provide agentless security for unmanaged IoT/OT devices as well as managed devices connected to Azure IoT Hub.

Microsoft is updating Azure services in a phased manner to use TLS certificates from a different set of Certificate Authorities.

Disabling public network access for Azure IoT Hub will disable access to built-in Azure Event Hub endpoint on September 30, 2020
When public network access to Azure IoT Hub is disabled, the built-in Azure Event Hub-compatible endpoint in IoT Hub may continue to be accessible via the public internet On September 30, 2020, this behavior will change, and public access to the built-in endpoint will be disabled when public network access is disabled for IoT Hub.
