Microsoft Identity Manager support for group managed service account (gMSA) configuration on select services is in public preview

Microsoft Identity Manager 2016 SP1 administrators can now configure group managed service accounts (gSMA) on select services to provide and eliminate the need for administrators to store static service accounts passwords in a ‘password vault’. Increased security as the password is refreshed automatically and that refresh interval is configurable.
