Cost saving recommendations in Azure Advisor for Azure Cosmos DB now generally available

Azure Advisor is a personalized cloud consultant that helps you follow best practices to optimize your Azure deployments. There are now two new recommendations in Azure Advisor that allow you to save and optimize your Azure Cosmos DB cost:

• Based on an analysis of historical usage patterns, Azure Advisor will recommend if a database or container can benefit from moving to Azure Cosmos DB autoscale, along with the estimated cost savings. Autoscale can help you optimize costs by scaling down RU/s when not in use.
• For databases or containers currently using autoscale, Azure Advisor will recommend if you could benefit from using manual throughput instead.
