Published date: March 13, 2020
Azure Functions support for Python 3.8 is now generally available. This enables developing, debugging, and deploying Function Apps for production scenarios using the tools of your choice, specifically Visual Studio Code, the Azure portal, Azure Functions Core Tools and Azure CLI. We have also enhanced the experience for building machine learning workloads with the addition of these new features:
- Bring your own storage, enabling you to decouple model deployments from the inferencing logic.
- Added support for popular libraries like OpenCV, XGBoost, LightGBM.
- Detailed guidance for deploying Pytorch and Tensorflow models.
