New ASC Threat Protection alerts for Azure Resource Manager (Preview)

Azure Security Center offers new security alerts (in preview) that detect unusual or potentially harmful operations using the Azure Resource Manager management layer. The new threat protection logic detects cloud-environment reconnaissance toolkits that are used to map Azure resources, and identifies insecure configurations which can secure persistence for an attacker.
