Graph support for Azure SQL Database

Tanggal dipublikasikan: 30 Juni, 2017

The rapid growth and complexity of data can leave users struggling to optimize schema and query design. Graph databases help by introducing simple constructs of nodes and relationships into linked structures for sophisticated modeling. Azure SQL Database now offers fully integrated graph extensions, so users will be able to define graph schema with graph objects. SQL Server is already trusted by millions of customers for mission-critical workloads, and with graph extensions in SQL Server 2017, customers get the best of both relational and graph databases in a single product, including the ability to query across all data using a single platform. Users can also benefit from other cutting-edge technologies already available in SQL Server such as columnstore indexes, advanced analytics using SQL Server R Services, high availability, and T-SQL language extensions that will help find patterns and enable multi-hop navigation.
