Azure Monitor Workbooks is now generally available
Published date: November 04, 2019
Azure Monitor Workbooks is now generally available. It gives you a single tool that can combine text, analytic queries, metrics, and parameters into a rich interactive report that you can share with your team members. Customers use workbooks in a number of ways—exploring the usage of an app, going through a root cause analysis, and putting together an operational playbook, for example. Since the launch in preview, we’ve added support for a number of new data sources including Azure Data Explorer, Azure Resource Graph, Azure Monitor Logs, Metrics, and Alerts. In addition, new visualization options such as charts, grids, tiles, honeycombs, and maps have been added. The Azure Monitor Workbook platform now forms the basis of new monitoring experiences in Azure services such as Azure Sentinel, Storage accounts, CosmosDB, AAD, and SAP Hana.
