Public preview: Protect Azure Static Web Apps environments with a password

Published date: March 16, 2022

By default, Static Web Apps environments are publicly accessible. You can configure a password and require visitors to enter it before viewing the app. You can apply this protection to just your app’s preview environments or to all environments, including production.

Password protection is a user-friendly feature that provides a low level of security. It can be used in addition to Static Web Apps Authentication. For a higher level of security, use IP restrictions or Private Endpoint.
