GUID migration: Azure Security Center unit-of-measure change
Published date: May 15, 2018
Azure Security Center provides integrated security monitoring and policy management across your Azure subscriptions. It helps detect threats that might otherwise go unnoticed, and it works with a broad ecosystem of security solutions.
Currently, billing for Security Center is reported on a per node, per month basis. Starting July 1, 2018, billing will be reported on an hourly basis (per node, per hour). With this change, you’ll receive greater granularity in billing. There won’t be a pricing impact from this change, but you will need to modify billing routines that rely on resource GUIDs.
See the following table for GUID migration details.
