General availability: Azure Site Recovery in new Azure experience

Azure Site Recovery, a component of Microsoft Operations Management Suite, is generally available in the new Azure experience. Those familiar with Site Recovery will be happy with the new look and feel, as well as these enhancements:

  • Azure Resource Manager support for all scenarios

  • First-class support for Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) subscriptions

  • Enhanced VMware to Azure

    • Support for Resource Manager deployments and classic deployments

  • New replication policy construct to enable flexible association and management

  • Support for locally redundant storage as a target

  • Functionality of Azure Backup and Site Recovery in a single "Recovery Services vault" construct
