Azure Data Factory has added Avro and CosmosDB to data flows

CosmosDB and Avro formats are now available natively in Data Factory's data flows. Use mapping data flows with your hierarchical, array, and complex data to generate and execute data transformation at scale. Full transformation capabilities are supported, including aggregations, pivots, joins, and calculate columns, among others. CosmosDB also includes dynamic throughput scale-up during ETL processes, as well as full support for document updates, upserts, inserts and deletes.
