Cross-region read replicas in Azure Database for PostgreSQL are now available

Cross-region read replicas, which can scale out and balance read-heavy workloads across Azure regions, are now generally available in Azure Database for PostgreSQL. Create up to five read-only replica servers for every master server. Use this feature in business continuity and disaster recovery planning. Regional availability of replicas was adjusted between the preview period and general availability, so for more information see the replica documentation.
