General availability: Azure zone-redundant snapshots and images for managed disks

Zone-redundant snapshots and images for Azure Managed Disks are now generally available. They are backed by zone-redundant storage which replicates your data across multiple zones.
You can use managed snapshots and images to create Azure VMs even when one of the Availability Zones is unavailable or unrecoverable in the region. They are available in the Azure regions where Availability Zones are supported.
