Enterprise Agreement Support Plan Upgrade Offer (“EA Upgrade Offer”)

Microsoft is extending its 12-month Azure support plan upgrade* (with exclusions) up to 30th June 2018, to certain customers who meet the following Eligibility Qualifications:

  1. Have or intend to buy Microsoft Azure services on an Enterprise Agreement or on a Microsoft Product and Services Agreement, (each an “Agreement”); and
  2. Have an Agreement for Azure, Azure Government or Azure Germany (this excludes Premier support, Advanced Support for Partners and “Azure in China” accounts); and
  3. The Agreement is signed and/or renewed between 1st May 2016 and 30th June 2018 (“Qualification Term”).

Some customers may be eligible for additional benefits as part of this EA Upgrade Offer if either the Agreement contains a prepaid annual commitment for Azure services of at least $1000001 or the Azure services consumption equates to at least $100001 per month for 3 consecutive months (“Commitment or Consumption Condition”).

*The 12-month period shall begin on the date the Agreement is signed and/or renewed. The benefits of this EA Upgrade Offer may be renewed as long as Customer meets the Eligibility Qualifications.

Frequently asked questions

  • There is no action needed from you. All eligible customers, will be upgraded to Standard support within 45 days. If you meet the eligibility requirements, you will be upgraded to ProDirect and/or Azure App Consults within 45 days of meeting eligibility. When you log into the Azure portal and click to submit a “New Support request,” you will see your support plan subscription listed in the drop down box.

  • The benefits of this EA Upgrade Offer may be renewed as long as you meet the Eligibility Qualifications.
  • An Azure App Consulting Services session is a customised one-on-one consultation with a Microsoft Azure Engineer on a variety of Azure-related topics such as architecting cloud environments, design and implementation of apps on Azure and workload deployment. Microsoft engineers can provide deep, technical guidance on how to best use Azure capabilities, customised and aligned with your organisation’s goals.

    Each consultation is a structured discussion designed to address your development team’s questions or challenges. An Azure App consultant will work with your development team to identify prerequisites, provide customised technical guidance and deliver a summary report, including a detailed action plan. This benefit is best utilised by the development resources in your company. A typical Azure App Consult session will last up to 3 hours.

    Azure App Consulting Services benefit offer does not apply to Azure Government and Azure Germany customers.

  • No. This EA Upgrade Offer is not transferable and cannot be converted into any other benefit.

  • Premier support customers are currently receiving a broader level of support than what is available through this EA Upgrade Offer. Azure technical support hours (Problem Resolution Services) are not decremented from your Premier contract.
