Azure Managed Confidential Consortium Framework (CCF)PREVIEW
Build enterprise-grade, consortium-style stateful services and decentralized-trust applications with a common source of truth
Deploy your Confidential Consortium Framework–aware applications with an Azure managed service.
Overview
Build decentralized trust services
- Create enterprise operating models with transparent, programmable governance and hardware-backed integrity for logic and data.
- Ensure that transactions are confidential by default and logged with verifiable cryptographic proofs.
- Boost performance with database-like throughput, low latency, high availability, and disaster recovery.
FEATURES
Build stateful services with decentralized trust
Governance
Get transparent, programmable consortium-style proposal- and voting-based governance that supports enterprise operating models.

FAQs
- Learn more on the Confidential Consortium Framework (CCF) website, which includes documentation to help you build CCF-aware applications and run them on Azure Managed Confidential Consortium Framework.
- Use Azure Managed Confidential Consortium Framework to build applications that benefit from centralized confidential computing. Take advantage of a network where multiple parties agree on the code for an application, where each owns their data, and each shares only data-related summaries or selectively reveals part of the data when conditions are met. Transactions on the network remain auditable through a ledger.
- Distributed ledger and CCF technologies support similar use cases and scenarios, have similar concepts such as merkle tree, ledger, and fault tolerance, though they differ in how trust is established. Particularly, CCF technologies utilize centralized computation via hardware-based trusted execution environments (TEEs) to establish trust in the network, thereby enhancing the governance controls experience on the network.
- CCF can run on premises as well as in Azure. However, in order for clients and operators to trust the TEE security guarantee, the deployment environment should have access to the endorsements of the TEE attestation reports. While Azure caches these endorsements transparently, on-premises CCF deployments require the development of a specific infrastructure to store and serve the endorsements.
