Standard Load Balancer and IP addresses metadata now available through Azure Instance Metadata Service (IMDS)

Metadata of Standard Public IP addresses and Standard Load Balancer can now be retrieved through Azure Instance Metadata Service (IMDS). The metadata is available from within the running instances of virtual machines (VMs) and virtual machine scale sets (VMSS) instances. You can leverage the metadata to manage your virtual machines.
Available metadata includes:
- Standard Public IP address and Private IP address of the Virtual Machine instance.
- Frontend IP addresses of the Azure Standard Load Balancer fronting the Virtual Machine instance.
- Inbound rules of the Azure Standard Load Balancer which apply to the Virtual Machine instance.
- Outbound rules of Azure Standard Load Balancer which apply to the Virtual Machine instance.
