Retiring Azure Batch AI

Published date: 06 March, 2019

Microsoft made the Azure Machine Learning service generally available on Dec 4, 2018, which allows users to build, train, manage and deploy machine learning models. Because this new service has fully replaced the capabilities of Azure Batch AI Preview, we are retiring Batch AI on March 31, 2019, and customers will need to migrate their models by then.

Recommended action

Customers should migrate to the Azure Machine Learning service before March 31, 2019, to avoid disruptions to applications and enjoy quality and feature updates. We have published a migration guide to help customers map concepts and show code snippets between the two services.

For troubleshooting how to migrate to the Azure Machine Learning service, please reach out to the product team at AzureBatchAITrainingPreview@service.microsoft.com
