Power BI Embedded updates, blogs, and announcements

  • No, you can use Power BI Embedded to embed reporting and analytics anywhere that supports JavaScript to embed an iframe like custom built applications, portals, or websites.
  • The minimum node requirement is based on your data model size, and you can do performance testing once you’ve built your data visualizations. From there you can monitor usage and use APIs to scale up to accommodate demand during your busiest times, and scale back down to ensure you’re not paying for capacity that isn’t being used.
  • You can use any kind of visual that will best represent your data and help your users make decisions. Power BI Desktop comes with the most popular core Power BI visuals out of the box. In addition, hundreds of Power BI visuals are certified and available for download from AppSource. If you have a requirement for an industry or other specific visual that is not available, you can build your own with a Custom Power BI Visual SDK.
