Community support for Azure Database PostgreSQL version 10 ends on 10 November 2022

Published date: August 25, 2021

Because PostgreSQL version 10 community support ends on 10 November 2022, Azure Database for PostgreSQL will no longer support PostgreSQL version 10 after 10 November 2022.

If you choose to maintain your existing Azure Database for PostgreSQL version 10 servers beyond the retirement date, restrictions will apply to those servers as described in the Azure Database for PostgreSQL versioning policy document.

Action required

To avoid or minimize disruption to your workloads, we recommend you upgrade your Azure Database for PostgreSQL 10 database servers to version 11 before 10 November 2022. Review the steps in the upgrade documentationfor more details.
