Azure networking available only in the Azure portal from October 4

Data da publicação: 02 outubro, 2017

Starting October 4th, Azure Networking features will be available only in the new Azure portal, we will no longer be supporting classic portal for networking related resources. We encourage you to try using these features in the Azure portal and give us feedback.

For the past few months, we have been offering Azure Networking features in the Azure portal. The Azure portal provides an intuitive management experience along with better performance and reliability enabling you to do more with your Azure Networking resources. Begining September 30th, you will need to use the Azure portal to manage your Azure Networking resources instead of the Azure classic portal. In addition, all newer Networking features will be supported in the Azure portal only - examples include VNet Peering, Multiple IPs per NIC, Network Watcher, and new Gateway features among others. Networking feature support will be deprecated from the classic portal starting September 30th, 2017.

If you are not familiar with using the Azure portal for managing your Azure Networking resources, refer to the networking documentation. To update classic VNets and gateways using netcfg, read our documentation here.
