Azure IRAP has assessed seven additional services and granted them the level of PROTECTED
Published date: December 04, 2020
This month we added a total of seven new offerings for Microsoft Azure which have been independently IRAP assessed in alignment with the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM). The goal of IRAP is to maximize the security of Australian federal, state, and local government data by focusing on the information and communications technology infrastructure that stores, processes, and communicates it across the Azure platform. The IRAP assessment of Microsoft's services helps provide assurance to both public sector customers in government and their commercial counterparts that Microsoft has appropriate and effective security controls in place for the processing, storage, and transmission of information classified up to and including the level of PROTECTED.
