Azure achieves Service Organization Controls compliance for 14 additional services
Published date: November 11, 2020
This week we added a total of 14 new offerings for Microsoft Azure to our Service Organization Controls (SOC) 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 certifications. SOC is developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is a set of internal controls related to privacy, security, processing integrity, availability, and confidentiality. They are tested for their effectiveness by an independent third party who then publishes their results in reports that are made available in the Microsoft Service Trust Portal. These SOC reports allow Azure to communicate to you how we are meeting some of the most rigorous security and compliance standards in the world through a common language.
In addition to all Azure offerings achieving SOC certification, they are also Germany C5 and CSA STAR Attestation-certified and eligible for meeting a broad variety of other international compliance certifications such as ISAE 3402 and more. Visit the links below for a description of the newly certified Azure offerings.
