Confidential containers platform now supported on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Published date: September 22, 2020
With this release developers can choose different application architecture based on a spectrum of security and protection to orchestrate the container deployments on AKS. Developers can continue to leverage existing tooling and dev ops practices and focusing time on designing highly secure end to end applications. During our preview we have seen our customers choose confidential containers where developers took an existing unmodified docker container application written in higher programming language like Python, Java etc.. and orchestrated them successfully by choosing a confidential partner like Scone, Anjuna or Fortanix. Developers also choose an Open Source Software (OSS) like Graphene or Occlum to take advanced of SGX node support on AKS with the ability to openly audit the contents of the container SGX software.
