Azure networking available only in the Azure portal from October 4

lunes, 2 de octubre de 2017

Starting October 4, 2017, Azure networking features will be available only in the new Azure portal. We will no longer support the classic portal for networking-related resources. We encourage you to try using these features in the Azure portal and give us feedback.

For the past few months, we've been offering Azure networking features in the Azure portal. The Azure portal provides an intuitive management experience along with better performance and reliability, so you can do more with your Azure networking resources. Beginning October 4, you will need to use the Azure portal to manage your Azure networking resources, instead of using the Azure classic portal. In addition, all newer networking features will be supported in the Azure portal only. Examples include virtual network peering, multiple IPs per NIC, Network Watcher, and new gateway features.

If you are not familiar with using the Azure portal for managing your Azure networking resources, refer to the networking documentation. To update classic virtual networks and gateways by using netcfg, read our documentation.
