SQL Data Warehouse now offers flexible restore points

SQL Data Warehouse is a fast, flexible and secure analytics platform. It now provides user defined restore points, enabling you to initiate snapshots before and after significant operations on your data warehouse. This capability enables customers to generate much more granular restore points to ensure that each restore point is logically consistent. This will limit the impact and reduce the recovery time of restoring the data warehouse should that be needed. User-defined restore points can also be labeled, so they're easy to identify and are seamlessly created in the Azure portal.
