Azure Database for PostgreSQL – Flexible Server: Forced failover in public preview

Azure Database for PostgreSQL - Flexible Server now offers the forced failover capability in all zone redundant regions. You can use this feature to force a manual failover from your primary to your standby server to either test the high availability functionality or switch the availability zone between the primary and the standby servers. The Azure Database for PostgreSQL – Flexible Server forced failover feature allows you to manually force a failover, allowing you to test the functionality with your application scenarios and helps you to be ready in case of any outages. Additionally, the planned failover feature enables reduced downtime failover.
