Azure Batch client library for .NET updated to 1.2.0
Published date: March 09, 2015
Version 1.2 of the Azure Batch client library has been released on NuGet, It requires Azure Storage Client Library 4.0.0 if any of the FileStaging features are used. If your application uses a different version of the Storage Client library, you can continue to do so if you are not using any FileStaging features, for example, uploading files or setting up an SAS for task resources. You can still perform these operations, but you have to use the Azure Storage Client Library that is associated with your application. This update doesn’t contain any interface or function change. The change is necessary to support the upcoming release of Windows Powershell cmdlets for the Batch client library. You can get more information about the updates and read the Release Notes on the Microsoft Azure Batch 1.2.0 page on NuGet.Azure Batch code samples are updated to use the latest Batch client library.
