You will also get enhanced billing and cost-management capabilities to support your ongoing use of Azure services and your business growth.
With the Microsoft Customer Agreement, accept your terms once and the agreement is updated as you add products to your portfolio. Whether you buy directly from Azure.com, with the help of a Microsoft representative or from a partner, you are covered by the same agreement.
Enhanced billing and cost management
Customise your invoicing to separate your usage by department or workgroup, enable cross-charging and get targeted cost-management recommendations. Manage your purchasing, provisioning and account details through a unified Azure portal.
The new customer agreement will become available in 2019 in select regions.
No. Continue to purchase and use your Azure services as usual. You will be notified when the new agreement is available for your organisation.
All Microsoft products and services available in the Microsoft Store for Business catalogue and in select regions/countries on Azure.com are covered by the Microsoft Customer Agreement.
Customers buying Azure directly from Azure.com in the below countries/regions will automatically be covered under the terms of Microsoft Customer Agreement:
- United States
- Puerto Rico
- El Salvador
- Virgin Islands, U.S.
In addition, customers purchasing Azure through the Enterprise Agreement and Server and Cloud Enrollment from a Microsoft representative (with or without partner involvement) in the following countries/regions will also be covered under the Microsoft Customer Agreement:
- South Africa
- United Kingdom
- United States
- All of Western Europe
An Azure plan gives you access to Azure services at pay-as-you-go rates under your Microsoft Customer Agreement. An Azure subscription is a container of Azure resources/services that you can create and manage within the Azure plan. You can create one or more Azure subscriptions under an Azure plan at the same pay-as-you-go rates.
