The template will deploy a cluster of DataStax Enterprise nodes -- between 1 and 40 nodes in a single datacenter. The user can also select different Azure virtual machine types and configure several parameters, including administrative users and passwords.
Deployment typically takes 15-30 minutes, depending on the number of nodes requested. Depending on your Azure subscription type, you may have to contact Microsoft to increase your core quota. Default quotas can be as low as 4 or 20 cores. Please contact Microsoft support to have that adjusted.
On completion, DataStax OpsCenter will be accessible on port 8888 at the public IP address of the OpsCenter node. Each node is assigned a public IP address as well, so you can connect to them using tools like ssh and cqlsh.
