Azure Resource Manager — Migrating to TLS 1.2 with Deprecation of Outdated Security Protocols
Target retirement date: September 01, 2023
Azure Resource Manager will be deprecating support for TLS 1.1 and older in Fall 2023. To maintain an uninterrupted connection with Azure Resource Manager, update your operating systems and work environments to support TLS 1.2.

New Azure Resource Manager templates capabilities released
Azure Resource Manager templates are widely used to manage deployments on Azure. It’s a way to intuitively describe your entire Azure environment using our template language. New capabilities that address key challenges at the time of doing deployments with Resource Manager templates are now available.
View and navigate through changes across multiple resources
Newly updated Change Analysis UI now supports viewing changes for all resources under selected subscriptions. The at-scale view helps narrowing down the critical resources and changes to investigate regardless how the applications and resource groups are organized.

Azure Resource Manager is our cloud infrastructure stack that fully replaces the classic Azure Service Manager deployment model. As a result, support for Service Manager REST APIs for Azure SQL Database will be retired on December 1, 2019.
