The new Dv5 and Ev5 Azure Virtual Machines feature 3rd Generation Intel® Xeon® Platinum 8370C (Ice Lake) processors and deliver better price-performance compared to prior VM generations. The latest Dasv5 and Easv5 VMs - based on the 3rd Generation AMD EPYCTM 7763v (Milan) processor - now include options without local disk storage for lower-cost entry points.
