We’re teaming up with Red Hat to create an integrated support experience. No matter whether you run your Red Hat solution on premises or in Azure, and no matter who you contact for support, you’ll get a consistent support experience. Plus, you’ll get double the expertise, co-located technical engineers, and a seamless and coordinated escalation and resolution process. We call this unique model the Integrated Hybrid Support experience.
Enabling you to run your Red Hat Enterprise Linux virtual machines on Azure is just the beginning. We’re already working hard on a number of other initiatives. For instance, soon you’ll be able to migrate your existing Red Hat virtual machines to Azure. Also, .NET support is coming, enabling you to build and deploy .NET applications on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. And you’ll be able to manage Azure virtual machines alongside on-premises deployment of Red Hat applications with Red Hat Cloud Forms.
Today, customers can use Red Hat Cloud Access to bring their subscriptions to Azure and run Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Atomic Host, Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Server, Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Web Server, Red Hat Gluster Storage, and OpenShift by Red Hat. Integrated support will be available in the next few weeks, and other solutions will be available in the near future.
Microsoft and Red Hat are working together to make Red Hat products available on Microsoft Azure, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Server and JBoss Enterprise Web Server, Red Hat Gluster Storage, and Red Hat OpenShift Enterprise. We’re also collaborating on an integrated support experience spanning on-premises and cloud deployments. We’ll be enabling Red Hat Cloud Forms for use with Azure and Microsoft System Center. And .NET support in both Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat OpenShift will be coming soon.
