Azure Stack is an extension of Azure that brings the agility and innovation of the cloud to on-premises environments. It's now ready to order, so customers can modernize their application portfolio across hybrid environments, thereby gaining additional flexibility and control.
Azure and Azure Stack deliver a truly consistent hybrid cloud platform. This means that developers can build applications using a consistent set of Azure services, then collaborate with operations to deploy to the location that best serves their business, technical, and regulatory needs. Developers can take advantage of the rich offerings from the Azure ecosystem including partners, service providers, and systems integrators, to speed up their efforts.
Azure Stack integrated systems now available for order—Customers can now order integrated systems from Dell EMC, HPE, and Lenovo, with the first systems to begin shipping in September. Cisco and Huawei will come later, consistent with prior announcements.
Azure Stack software pricing and availability—We have released pricing for the pay-as-you-use and capacity-based models, allowing customers to plan their purchases. Billing options, including Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), will be ready when the systems start shipping.
Azure Stack Development Kit (ASDK) availability—The free, single-server deployment option for trial purposes is available for download today. Customers can use the development kit to build and validate their applications for integrated systems deployments.
